About this Guide
The purpose of this Guide is to help 1L students when writing their moot court briefs to fulfill the second semester of Legal Practice.
Appellate courts must follow certain rules for reviewing the cases below. Those rules are called standards of review, and they restrict how much a reviewing court may do.
