Environmental Law Guide: Websites

This organization was started by a group of scientists after winning a ban on the pesticide DDT. Today the organization combines the expertise of scientists, economists and attorneys to take-on the most urgent environmental threats. The New and Policy section of the website allows you to sign up for alerts or subscribe to a blog or a tweet to keep up to date on current events. ELI works to foster innovation in environmental law. They are also a major publisher on the topic of environmental law. Check out the Program Areas section of the website to drill down through the various programs and initiatives sponsored by the organization.

Hundreds of policy initiatives explained in simple language. You can sign up to receive a newsletter, or contact a policy maker. NRDC provides a legislative watch service and legislative analysis that could be useful for statutory research. NRDC's testimonies before Congress are archived back to 2001.

The NWF focuses on Wildlife and Conservation Issues but also has an interest in other environmental issues like Water, Air, Climate Change and Energy. Click on the Policy Link and select one of the policy areas to get news, reports, blogs, and links to additional information.
