The Multistate Bar Examination (MBE) 40%

Reciprocity:

Mississippi considers the following jurisdictions reciprocal and an attorney may be admitted on motion from one of these jurisdictions if, among other things, the attorney has engaged in the active practice of law for not less than five years:

Alabama, Alaska, American Samoa, Arizona, Arkansas, Colorado, Connecticut, District of Columbia, Georgia, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Oregon, Pennsylvania, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Vermont, Virgin Islands, Virginia, Washington, West Virginia, Wisconsin, Wyoming.
