Components of the District of Columbia Bar Exam (UBE):

The Multistate Bar Examination (MBE) 50%

The Mulitistate Essay Examination (MEE) 30%

The Multistate Performance Test (MPT) 20%

Reciprocity:

The District of Columbia is a UBE jurisdiction and excepts UBE scores up to 5 years old. In addition, the District of Columbia allows attorneys from any U.S. jurisdiction to become members of their bar on motion.
