The Basics

Components of the North Dakota Bar Exam (UBE):

The Multistate Bar Examination (MBE) 50%

The Mulitistate Essay Examination (MEE) 30%

The Multistate Performance Test (MPT) 20%

Reciprocity:

North Dakota is a UBE jurisdiction and excepts UBE scores up to 2 years old. In addition, Alabama considers all U.S. states and the District of Columbia reciprocal and an attorney may be admitted on motion if, among other things, the attorney has been actively engaged in the practice of law for at least four of the five years immediately preceding their application.
